Fri, July 4 7:00 pm 4th of July Skate led by: Carl <ford@dcaccess.net>  The traditional WAR 4th of July skate will be at 7 pm at the White House. We will skate till dusk then watch the fireworks from the Tidal Basin, in West Potomac Park. After the fireworks, we will skate some of the roads around the Mall and end up at Froggy Bottom. Skate the Washington & Old Dominion Trail (W&OD), starting in Vienna, VA. Meet up at 8:15AM. Leave at 8:30AM. All levels are welcome, skate at your own pace. Target distance is 40 miles, but skate your own distance. We will break up into smaller groups of similar level if needed. We start and end in Vienna, so pick your own half way point and turn around. Bicycles are welcome. Possible lunch get-together after the skate, details will be announced the morning of the skate.
