Inaugural Spring Kick-off Skate

2021 Inaugural skate has occurred! There was a lovely route to enjoy the cherry blossoms

The start of outdoor skating season in Washington DC. We will skate a classic Sunday intermediate route. Please join us for a bite, drink, and short meeting afterwards at a place TBD possibly Capital City Brewery.

Spring is in the air! With the snow and winter weather a faded memory, roller and inline skaters are reclaiming our streets and parks.

WAR President Jonathan Deason will lead this 10 1/2 mile combined skate, appropriate for intermediate and advanced street skaters. Are you still a beginner? If so, please join us on a bike.

This skate will be followed by lunch and a WAR meeting. Please be prepared to calculate and cover your share of the bill or ask for a separate check.
